I just bought LR/Blog and installed it in LR4 (Mac OS X 10.7). According to the Plugin Manager it's installed and working correctly, but I don't see it under Publish Services. If I try to add a new Publish Service, I don't see LR/Blog in the dropdown menu. I've tried reloading the plugin, to no avail...

Exposure fusion and HDR (common term for HDR tone mapping), are not the same thing.

That's why most HDR softwares take a lot of time to create the intermediary 32bits HDR image, not Enfuse or Photomatix in exposure fusion mode.
Exposure fusion select the well exposed pixels from each picture, it doesn't create an HDR image.
It directly create an LDR (Low Dynamic Range) picture.
That's why it is a lot faster and natural looking (no halo, no over saturation, no micro-contrast...)

ppl doing interiors and such "prone to halos" pictures should use exposure fusion, not HDR (in the tone mapping sense).

If you still like natural HDR, SNS HDR seems the best.Even if it takes ages to create the HDR tone mapping ;)
It is so natural some ppl think it is exposure fusion...but it is not.

The WSPP issue? It's been resolved by Adobe and everything should now work in the latest 4.1 beta that Adobe has just released.

Hi,

This problem has slipped into LR4. I'm working with Adobe to fix the issue.

Even though you can't see the image in the preview it will publish just fine.

When you say that you can't change the contents of the page are you referring specifically to that issue of something else?

I’ve made a website on Lightroom 3.6 and Impact Filmstrip WSPP 2.32.
I’ve just update Lightroom with Lightroom 4 and my model user in web module doesn’t functionne any more (the image on menu bar doesn’t appear)

Is there a update for the plugin or a manipulation that I shall do ?

Hope to read you soon.

Hi there,

I've installed LR4 and LREnfuse, and Plugin Manager reports it is installed and running. It is registered and at the latest version.

However, when I try to use it I am required to install the app under the configuration tab. I then select the option to "use applications hosted by The Photographers Tool Box".

But when I click "Install Apps" button, The download window just sits there with no progress bar until it eventually times out.

Is this a known bug or am I missing something?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers
Tony

Hello, Now suddenly the new version 2.32 of Filmstrip was installed (properly?) in LR4. But I still have a problem. When I add a branding- or background picture it is not recognised by Filmstrip and I cannot use the program to to change contents of the webpage, unless I go back to LR3. Sugggestions?

Excellent plugin.
Just one question.
Why it is impossible to also export video files to the corresponding folders?

Nice plugin. However it would be a huge time saver if the following could be included:
1. Keywords to Wordpress Tags
2. Select the Wordpress Image size to include in the Post. Usually this is smaller than the lightbox version.
3. Set Feature Image checkbox.

Optionally, the Categories would also be nice.

This really works great and is a huge help. It's just missing one important and much used control - temperature and tint. All of the other sliders would be nice to have but are secondary.

Thanks for the great work!

I am having a blast with impact! This is exactly what I needed. I am still learning the ropes and designing and redesigning my site. Have a great time doing it....and saving a ton of $$$ by not paying a web designer to build a website for me.

Question: I would like to limit the annotations to client gallery for proofing and selection. I do not want annotations to appear on the non-client gallery. How do I achieve that? Is it possible?

Cheers!

This is the best web-gallery for lightroom I ever seen! The annotations is a major plus.
It would be great to have the option to "Justify" the text.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Alain,

Under the "Image Info" panel you need to set up the contents of the annotations.

At the bottom of the "Appearance" panel you can stylize the annotations.

@ Eric,

I find that in situations like that I need to expose for the entire range then create layers with masks in PS and paint in the areas require detail. It's painstaking, but it works well. However I doubt cheap realtors will be willing to invest in your time doing so.

Best,
John

I agree -- that would make this plugin exceptionally useful. My blog posts are almost exclusively structured around photos, but have text and tags as well. I'd link to them, but they're gated. Anyhoo, just wanted to add my vote to this request.

Lo Yuk Fai - try brushing on clarity to your skies prior to enfusing. Yes, the parameters will effect this as well.

Hi Jennifer - thanks for your interest. Yes, we would LOVE to come to New Zealand and do some teaching and a few weeks of night photography. If you have a local organization that can organize it and gather participants, have them contact me and let's put it together!

I would really love to see these features:

2. Token(s) to Post Tag(s)
3. "set as featured image" check box

Sandra,
I shoot real estate photography in FL, using multiple lighting more often. but many times I need to shoot in very high contrast areas where the interiors are dark, and the windows facing the beach are burned out.

I purchased Photomatix pro, but find it a pain in the neck and can't get great natural looking images. have you found that shooting LR/Enfused easy and produce very naturaL looking images ?

please give me som examples and feed back on shooting this way.

thanks,

Eric

Hi,
I'm currently developing a gallery template/plugin for wordpress and I'm working with custom post types to realize a advanced gallery. While doing that I was looking for a solution to upload my images directly from lightroom and I found your Plugin. Long story short it's amazing, but have you ever considered to support custom post types, introduced with WP 3.0 http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Types currently it's only possible to create a post but in my case the custom post is called gallery. That would be great, let me know if this is possible and I would love to use the Plugin after it's implemented.

Uushiemo have indeed created a superb site, once I have my head around markup, I hope to improve my little offering.
Although, after only two evenings work I'm quite pleased with the result.
My previous site ( simondavey.co.uk), which is quite "pretty" was built entirely with Freeway pro, but of course, I can't publish and update galleries directly from Lightroom.
Well done Timothy, well worth the £30.
Things that would be "nice".
A little more page control in non-gallery pages (widths and text placings etc).
Also, a slideshow from a contact sheet style gallery would be awesome.
Please don't let my suggestions above detract from excellence of the ImpactWSPP plugin though, many, many thanks, a true labour saving plugin.

Hi Tim!

As a professional photographer, I spend countless hours everyday in Lightroom. When posting to a blog, the last thing I want to do is spend hours formatting and importing images; this plugin works fantastically and really integrates well into my workflow. Any professional photographer using Lightroom and Wordpress should consider this plugin!

I must admit, this is the fastest, simplest way for me to do real estate HDR images yet. (I've used PSCS5 Merge and I've used Photomatix.) I even created a LR3 User Preset for finishing the images off. VERY good plug-in - thanks so much. I'll be using this one a lot as it really streamlines my work-flow and speeds it up immensely.

I'm quite interested to know if these commands can be used with the commandline field you've provided in the plugin. Purchased it last night and really looking forward to using it.
