Search Replace Transfer

Search Replace Transfer is a Lightroom (version 4 or greater) plug-in designed for bulk changes to text in Metadata Panel fields. There are three key features

Search and replace

• Searches and replaces text like a word processor
• Appends text before or after existing text in metadata fields
• Transfers text between fields
• Add sequential numbers
• Changes the case of text fields
• Copies location metadata to keywords - and vice versa
• Copies location metadata between IPTC-Core and IPTC-Extension fields

Workflow Filters

• Review your metadata entry - title, caption and keywords
• Filters by any EXIF/IPTC/Develop field value
• Filters by months or stack position
• Transfers metadata from iView/Expression Media to 18 custom fields

Caption Builder

• Generate captions from other metadata fields

The plug-in also provides a number of custom fields where you can store metadata which doesn't fit in EXIF or IPTC fields, and a mechanism for copying metadata from iView Media Pro.

Lightroom Versions

Search Replace Transfer works on Lightroom 2 or later.

Payment and Updates

The trial version operates on up to 10 images at a time. Purchasing the plugin will give you a registration code that will remove this restriction. All future updates are free.
