Syncomatic - Virtual copies

Syncomatic can sync metadata between the master photo and its virtual copies, and in either direction.

As usual, it is recommended that you select only the masters and only the virtual copies which you want to include in the processing.

Select the pictures and choose the menu command Library > Plug-In Extras > Syncomatic. Then go to the Virtual Copies tab where you can choose to sync metadata from the master to its virtual copies, or vice versa.

Normally syncing from masters to virtual copies will sync metadata to all the virtual copies of each master. However, as shown below, you can also choose to sync only to one of the virtual copies, based on the Copy Name field. So here metadata is being synced only to Copy 3.
