Step 1: Installing ImageMagick (Windows users only)

(Mac users do not need do this since the plugin includes its own version)

To use this plugin, Windows users must install ImageMagick. Mac users do not need do this since the plugin includes its own version.

If you have any problems with the plugin, you'll may also need to install these Microsoft pacakges:

• (32-bit windows) Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
• (64-bit windows) Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)

64-bit Windows requires both packages (x86 & x64).

Step 2: Installing Storyboarder

Download and unzip Storyboarder. You should now have a plugin called 'Storyboarder.lrplugin'. On a Mac this will look like a file and have an icon. On Windows this will be a folder - the folder itself is the plugin.

You should install install the plugin using the plugin manager:

1. Move Storyboarder.lrplugin to a convenient location of your own choosing.
2. Open Lightroom's plugin manager from the File menu.
3. Click the "Add" button.
4. Browse to the plugin and click "OK" on a Mac or "Add plugin" on a PC.

Step 3: Set up (Windows users only)

Windows users may need to tell the plugin where to find ImageMagick's mogrify application. The plugin will try to find this itself, but if it can't then you should locate it.

In the plugin manager press 'Choose', browse to the ImageMagick installation (e.g. C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.4.1-Q16 - this will vary with the version of ImageMagick) and choose mogrify.exe

Step 4: Unlock the trial version

If you have donated towards the project you should unlock the trial version using the registration code that you should have received.

1. Open the plugin manager from the File menu.
2. Choose "Storyboarder" from the list of plugins.
3. Enter your registation code into the User Registration section
