LR/Mogrify 2 v4.00 released

We’ve released version 4.00 of LR2/Mogrify. It adds a few things that people have been asking for:

  • There’s a new “Canvas” section for placing the (resized) image onto a fixed size canvas. Useful when images have to have a fixed size but you don’t with to crop them (such as for sending them to photo labs or displaying them on a digital projector).
  • Multiple different watermarks may now be added to an image.
  • PNG watermarks may now be scaled proportionally.
  • Watermarks can now be specified as a percentage of the width or height of the image while preserving the aspect ratio.
  • Horizontal/Vertical insets now work in each of the nine watermark positions.
  • The limit of 3 text annotations has been removed – add as many as you want.
  • Fixed a recent bug that stopped TIFF’s being exported in 8-bit mode.
  • Fixed a recent bug that stopped borders having no width or height.

just wondering how the whole feature request thing goes for lr/mogrify?

I would love to be able to have two differently sized image of the same image placed in two locations. one is a thumbnail and the other a larger version. I am trying to escape the whole take it into photoshop thing for exporting large quantities of images, this way I can still do the edits while its exporting in the background.

do you think this is possible?

    all the best
    Ryan

Anyway, now new version 4.14 is giving a different message.

    =-=-=-=-=

A file is not located at the specified path.

    Path tried: /Users/myname/Photos/Lightroom/foldername/imagename.jpg

    =-=-=-=-=

Of course it’s not there. That’s where I’m trying to put my LR/Mogrify output.

    Ideas?

    • Hi,

Plug-in support is generally preferred by email since each case tends to be different.

However I suspect that a few people are seeing this one when used in conjunction with other post-process plugins. Try completely removing then recreating any outer borders
